Canaries 3
Canaries came back from two goals down to rescue a point against Longtails at the weekend.
The Longtails went in front in the fourth minute off the stick of Maha Clarke, and Jokiah Richardson doubled the Longtails lead in the 20th minute.
The Canaries pulled a goal back in the 24th minute when Jenni Crayford, but Laurel Powell restored the Longtails two goal advantage in the 38th minute.
Down two goals for the second time, Canaries would be within one in the 60th minute when Rebecca Gibson hit the back of the net, and comeback was complete six minutes later when Marie Taylor equalised.
Wildcats 3
Budgies II 0
Wildcats swept aside Budgies II at the weekend.
After a scoreless first half, the Wildcats went in front in the 40th minute when Cerepha Bridgeman, followed by Susanna Almeida’s goal 11 minutes later to double Wildcats’ lead.
Maria Pichery closed out the scoring in the 66th minute seal the win.
