Bermuda off to a flyer

Bermuda 14 Trinidad and Tobago 7

Bermuda Under-19 made a winning start to the North American Caribbean Rugby Association Championship with a win over hosts Trinidad.

Vying for the NACRA Trophy rather than the NACRA Cup after suffering relegation from the top regional group last year, Bermuda made a shaky start and found themselves 7-0 down at the interval.

But they improved after the break, playing better rugby in the right areas of the pitch, and were rewarded with two tries from Rory Dublin in quick succession. Both were converted by Kamel Easton and Dublin.

Bermuda are back in action tomorrow against the British Virgin Islands.

They take on Turks and Caicos on Friday.
