Two cars have been damaged on Front Street after they were reportedly struck by a truck earlier this evening.

Police are currently attending the scene, located west of the junction with Burnaby Street.

The truck is thought to have collided with the sides of two cars before leaving the scene.

A police spokesman said: “Witnesses are sought regarding a reported collision along a section of Front Street, City of Hamilton between Burnaby Street and Parliament Street that apparently occurred around 8:20pm.

“Initial information suggests that a truck being driven through that area collided with two parked cars before leaving the scene. There were no reported injuries.

“Anyone who may have seen this collision is encouraged to contact PC Kalvilicia Joell at the Hamilton Police Station on telephone number 247-1704.”
