The east bound lane of Serpentine Road in Pembroke will be closed for up to 48 hours to allow Belco to carry out repairs on a faulty cable, a City spokeswoman announced this morning.

The emergency dig will run from the Par-la-Ville Road roundabout to the roundabout where Dundonald Street meets Park Road.

The lane closed this morning and is expected to undergo trenching over the next 36 to 48 hours.

The City apologised for the inconvenience, advising motorists to be mindful of diversion signs and take care while driving through the area.
