Woman denies assault and making threats

A 32-year-old woman has denied assault and making threats.

Michaelia Selvin, of Pembroke, appeared in Magistrates’ Court this morning.

She pleaded not guilty to entering the Pembroke home of Ayesha Shabazz as a trespasser and doing her unlawful bodily harm. She also pleaded not guilty to charges of uttering threatening words to Ms Shabazz and wilfully damaging a screen door.

Ms Selvin is alleged to have threatened Ms Shabazz by saying she would “f****** kill you” and “I’m going to f*** you up”.

The incidents are said to have happened on October 2.

Senior Magistrate Archibald Warner set a trial date of January 16 and released Ms Selvin on $2,000 bail.
