St David’s man denies assaulting son, 11
A St David’s man was bailed in Magistrates’ Court this morning after he denied unlawfully assaulting his 11-year-old son.
The 49-year-old, who cannot be named for legal reasons, allegedly committed the offence in Southampton on April 12.
Magistrate Khamisi Tokunbo granted $5,000 bail on the condition that the defendant have no contact with the complainant.
A trial date was set for July 3.
Also in court, 26-year-old Trimiea Roland, of no fixed abode, denied causing wilful and unlawful damage to a sliding glass door.
Ms Roland allegedly caused $600 worth of damage to the door belonging to Bryan Harvey in Warwick on April 9.
Mr Tokunbo granted $1,000 bail and set a trial date for May 27.
