The Royal Gazette/BSX Index closed up 10.26 points, or 0.88 per cent, at 1,179.6

Insurance company Argus was up 25 cents, or 0.1 per cent, to $4.05 after 1,800 shares sold.

Fellow insurer BF&M rose ten cents, to $17.10, after 2,360 shares moved.

And Bank of Butterfield went up one cent, to $1.62, after 15,875 shares changed hands.

The BSX Insurance Index ended the day up 40.89 points, or 2.47 per cent, at 1,693.66.
