Somers the lone trader on BSX


Somers Ltd was the only stock to trade on the Bermuda Stock Exchange.

The financial-services holding company remained unchanged on $15 as 36 shares changed hands.

The Royal Gazette/BSX Index closed where it started on 1,918.37.

Butterfield Bank’s US-listed shares gained 16 cents, or 0.58 per cent, in New York Stock Exchange trading to close on $27.71.

The bank last traded on the BSX at $27.

Separately, One Communications Ltd repurchased 10,000 of its shares on Tuesday at an average price of $3.75 for immediate cancellation.
