Shares of Watlington Waterworks Ltd improved by $2, or 7.7 per cent, to $28 after 2,000 traded on The Royal Gazette/BSX Index.Butterfield Bank improved by 70 cents, or 2.1 per cent, to $34 after 1,300 shares changed hands, while in New York the bank’s shares were up 85 points, or 2.52 per cent, at $34.64.On the local exchange, 59,000 shares of One Communications Ltd were traded, but with no change to the closing price of $3.79.The Royal Gazette/BSX Index was up 33.46 points, or 1.51 per cent, to 2,253.55, while the BSX Insurance Index was up 79.19 points, or 4.5 per cent, at 1,837.84.Separately, One reported that it repurchased 92,126 of its common shares at an average price of $3.49 last month for immediate cancellation. Meanwhile, LOM Financial Limited purchased a total of 36,100 of its shares at an average price of $2.77 for cancellation during January. “The current share repurchase programme confirms our commitment to continually enhance value for our shareholders,” Malcolm Moseley, executive vice-president and chief financial officer of LOM, said.
