Teenager caught with bags of cannabis

A social inquiry report was ordered on a teenager caught in possession of cannabis with intent to supply.

Jah’Dimon Parkes, 17, admitted the offence at Magistrates’ Court this week.

The court heard that Parkes, from Pembroke, was arrested in the parish on a separate matter on July 25 last year and searched.

Police found a plastic bag with 18 twist bags inside that contained a gum-like substance, later found to be cannabis.

Senior magistrate Juan Wolffe adjourned the case until March 15.
