A gun-toting robber stole cash from a store yesterday.

The man, armed with a gun and wearing a motorcycle helmet, escaped with an undisclosed amount of cash from Just Rite Enterprises on Marsh Folly Road, by the junction with Factory Lane.

It is understood no staff were injured in the incident, which happened just after 3pm.

A Bermuda Police Service spokesman said: “It appears a lone individual entered the store and brandished what appeared to be a firearm.

“He demanded money off staff and left with an undisclosed amount of cash.”

The robber was wearing dark clothes, a full-face helmet with a dark visor and a red bandana.

He left the scene on a black scrambler bike with white mudguards.

Police have appealed for witnesses.
