Man stabbed outside Woody’s
A man was stabbed outside a sports bar on Sunday night, police said yesterday.
A spokesman added the 45-year-old was attacked by a stranger near Woody’s bar and restaurant in Sandys.
He said the victim, who was from the parish, was “confronted and injured near the waterside by an unknown man brandishing a bladed article”.
The man was treated in hospital for non-life threatening injuries and later discharged.
His attacker was described as slim, about 5ft 11in tall with a light complexion and an afro.
Police said the exact time of the incident was still unclear and appealed for witnesses.
