Dear Sir,

The new British governor is barely in the island five minutes and ignores 120 churches by making a misstep on the issue of gun violence. What a slap in the face.

Today home affairs minister Patricia Gordon-Pamplin rejected the Reverend Nicholas Tweed’s work permit appeal.

As a member of St Paul AME, I am appalled at her action and she should resign forthwith because she told us why she was conflicted with his presence. Her statement made her biased and therefore unable to look at it objectively.

She must go, as she is unfit to be a government minister.
