Thankful for leadership during the pandemic
The following is a letter to David Burt, the Premier of Bermuda.
Mr Premier, I am a Bermudian in Bermuda and I have been watching how Bermuda has responded to the threat of Covid-19. In my view, you and your government are doing an excellent job.
I am impressed with the transparency of the Government; the frequent updates; the obvious amount of hard work that is taking place behind the scenes; the concern for and measures put in place to help the Bermudian people; the tone of your delivery in your press conferences and the way you, your Cabinet and the Chief Medical Officer have acted quickly, intelligently, gracefully and, in my opinion, with more acumen than either the United States or Britain.
I am very proud of you and your government, and pray that God has mercy on us and that we come through safely and securely.
