A beauty spa in Hamilton has expanded its services and product line.

Body Sculpture, which is located on Park Road, behind City Hall and Bull’s Head car park has recently hired Charlotte Myers.

Ms Myers brings with her 25 years’ experience in the aesthetic business.

Karen Mayor, owner and registered nurse of the spa, mentioned that her reason to expand the services and hire Ms Myers was for her wealth of experience and passion for skincare.

“She is amazing at facials and specialises in anti-ageing, acneic skin, for adults and teenagers, sun-damaged and rosacea skin types,” Ms Mayor said.

Ms Myers will also provide medical spa facials that target specific skin issues and help reverse them.

“For the over 35-year-olds we offer a revolutionary rejuvenation system for age-damaged skin, an alternative to peels, resulting in visibly refreshed and firmer skin,” she said.

“For younger skin, we offer facials that help with pigmentation, anti-ageing, acne and rosacea.

Natural and gel/shellac manicures and pedicures in both Express, perfect for those on the go, and Deluxe services for those who like to enjoy a luxurious, exfoliating scrub, and nourishing paraffin wax treatment and full body waxing with both hard and soft waxes to remove unwanted hair.” said Ms Mayor.

Among the services being offered at Body Sculpture are, the aesthetic services, Endermologie, an FDA-approved treatment for cellulite for the past 12 years. It works by increasing the circulation to the skin and stimulating the lymphatic system to drain toxins and help to smooth the skin.

Microdermabrasion is a minimally invasive skin procedure that involves polishing away the outer layer of skin to smooth the complexion and reduce the appearance of scars, wrinkles and discolouration.

“We also provide laser hair removal. This is probably the most popular as it is amazing! Working on dark hair it has at least 95 per cent success rate for permanent hair reduction,” Ms Mayor said.

The laser can also help remove tiny spider veins on legs and nose/face. LaserGenesis is an anti-ageing rejuvenation treatment offered too.

Free consultations are available to clients enquiring about laser treatments or Endermologie. This allows for clients to fully understand how laser works and come to an informed consent before starting treatment.
