Ewart Brown, the former Premier of Bermuda, will discuss his autobiography at an event in the United States designed to celebrate National Literacy Month.

Dr Brown will open Literary SoulFest next week at the Dock Bookshop in Texas, the largest African-American bookstore in the region.

He will talk about his book, Whom Shall I Fear?, with Donya Craddock, the co-owner of the store, in a live Zoom session.

Dr Brown said: “We were in the middle of our book-signing tour in Los Angeles in March when the pandemic changed our lives.

“This will be our first attempt at a virtual event and I am extremely excited.”

The event will be held at 1pm Bermuda time on Saturday.
