EY to stage reinsurance conference next week
Bermuda’s re/insurance industry will be in focus at next week’s EY Re/insurance Business and Accounting Update.
The event will gather industry leaders and cover a range of topics including accounting, tax, and regulatory matters, as well as the business imperatives facing the Bermuda re/insurance industry.
Patrick Tannock, managing director and chief executive officer of Axa XL’s Bermuda insurance operations and chairman of the Association of Bermuda International Companies, who will offer his insights on the industry.
David Brown, senior partner and regional insurance leader, said: “Amid the ever-changing business and regulatory environment, Bermuda has consistently been the home of innovation in the re/insurance space, so it’s the perfect location to bring together industry professionals to discuss the various opportunities and challenges impacting our industry as we look to 2020.”

The event, which is geared towards finance, accounting, tax and compliance re/insurance executives, will take place on December 10 at O’Hara House in Hamilton.
