The estimates of revenue and expenditure in the 2017/18 budget were approved by MPs in the House of Assembly last night.

The passing of the Appropriation Act 2017 signalled the end of over three weeks of debate during which Parliamentarians have locked horns on how Government funding will be distributed under Bob Richards, the Minister of Finance’s, budget.

The Senate will begin debating the 2017/18 budget today.
