Grand Prix format of two long races to build up riders' endurance.

Maurice Symons led the first pee wee 50/80 moto with Garry Cann in hot pursuit. Lawrenzo Trott, riding a pee wee 80, powered through and took the lead from Symons as Cann finished second and Brandon DeSilva third on the 50s.

Craig Panchaud led the first 60/80 moto, followed by Nelson DeGraffe.

Duprey Joell raced the first 25 minutes in the 125/250 moto with Chris Maxwell, Otis Ingham, Stephen Lightbourne and Kemo Simons making up the top five.

By lap five, Ingham was leading with Robbie Smith on his back wheel. There were two changes at the half as Smith took over from Ingham and Simons took over from Lightbourne after the latter fell.

Smith persevered to take the victory, followed by Ingham and Maxwell in the 125B and Simons, Burgess and Lightbourne in the 125C.

A slight collision at the start of the second pee wee 50/80 race allowed Cann to take a large lead over DeSilva and Jakai Brimmer. Maurice Symons was on the march as he made his way to the front after Cann and Simons came closer.

On the last lap Cann went down, allowing Simons through to win. Brandon DeSilva was second and Brimmer third. Lawrenzo Trott won over Aaron Cannonier in the second pee wee 80 race.

Jamal Hassell made his move to the front at the start of the second 80cc race, followed by DeGraffe, Easton, Panchaud and DeSilva. By lap 10 Hassell was still leading with Panchaud closing.

Howard Paynter, who suffered a bad start, moved up five places to third while Steven Panchaud led the 60cc class over Chris DeSilva.

A few laps later Hassell over-shot a corner and as he was getting back on track Panchaud ran into him which allowed Paynter to take over first place for the final five laps. Paynter claimed his second win in as many races and his first overall victory.

Hassell recovered to finish second with Shaki Easton third. Panchaud won the second 60cc race to finish first overall.

Duprey Joell, Chris Maxwell and Kemo Simons all got a good start in the second 125/250 moto. But by a third of the distance the order was Joell, on the 250, Maxwell, Smith, Ingham and Simons, who was the first C class rider leading Mike Burgess and Lightbourne.

Two-thirds into the lap Smith had moved to the front ahead of Joell, Ingham and Maxwell. And the order stayed that way to the end.

This Sunday sees the motocross Nationals continue.
