Dear Sir,

My wife and I recently returned to Bermuda after a week’s holiday and upon arrival, coming off the aircraft steps, I looked at a bunch of old, dilapidated buildings while walking to the immigration area, I was embarrassed at the condition of the whole area and wondered what the tourists and the rest of the locals thought.

We need a new airport like yesterday, and forget the naysayers — the One Bermuda Alliance is the elected government. Let’s get this major job done. Now.
