Coldwell Banker to host home show
Coldwell Banker Bermuda Realty will host the Island?s Fourth Annual Home Show this weekend at the Number One Shed in Hamilton.
There will be 63 local business exhibitors occupying 75 booths at the show and 3,000 people are expected to attend.
Last year more than 2,500 people attended, representing a cross section of home owners and potential buyers.
?There will be everything from flooring, home furnishings, landscaping, interior designers, window treatments, swimming pools, land surveying, appraisals and antique furniture displays so we are very excited,? Coldwell Banker corporate services manager Kendra Mello said.
?We want to give everybody a one stop shopping atmosphere where if they are thinking about buying or owning a home or are thinking about renovating homes, they can come and talk to local service providers.?
The event starts starts on Saturday at 9.30 a.m. until 4.30 p.m. on both levels of the Number One Shed and the public are being encouraged to attend this free event.
Door prizes ranging from travel voucher and plasma screen TVs will also be available.
?People often look at the real estate companies as part of the problem of the housing crisis but we want to be part of the solution. This is an economic problem driven by supply and demand and prices having going up because there hasn?t been enough houses to meet demand.?
?We are working on ways to increase supply.
?We are starting to see a bit of a shift, there is a lot of new inventory, particularly condominium inventory coming on to the market.
