Along the way Holder downed Lynn Somner (2-1), Kathy Darrell (2-1), Veronica Renaud (2-1) and Brenda Hutton (2-1).

Meanwhile, Cartwright earned her way to the last two by virtue of triumphs over V.Steede (2-1), Debbie Nesbitt (2-0), Elizabeth Simons (2-1) and Lucille Foggo (2-0).
