Albert Darrell, of the Railway Trail, Sandys, said when he asked for the officers' name, the Policeman replied: "I'm a limey, you bastard.'' Darrell and another man went to the Somerset Police Station on December 22 to report a minor traffic accident they were involved in. Officers asked Darrell to undergo an alco-analyser test.

The lowest level recorded by the test was 149 milligrams per 100 millilitres of blood.

He was fined $400 and disqualifed from driving for one year.

POLICE PROBE CAR CRASH IN WARWICK AC Police probe car crash in Warwick A motorist escaped injury when his car crashed through a wall and trees in Warwick.

Police believe the 28-year-old man was driving his red Subaru along Middle Road when he lost control.

The car crashed through the wall, opposite the Belmont Hotel entrance and traveled through the fruit trees before stopping in a yard behind the Belco sub-station.

Police are investigating the accident and anyone who can help should contact P.c. Terry Thomas at the traffic unit.

BURGLARS STEAL DAY CARE CENTRE FOOD CRM Burglars steal day care centre food Hungry burglars stole food during raids on Monday.

Intruders snatched food and a microwave oven from a day care centre, in Governor's Alley, St. George's. A home in Curving Avenue, Pembroke was also found to have been raided and food stolen.

A burglar broke into two neighbouring offices in Pitts Bay Road, Pembroke, and escaped with $200 from one office.
