Lunchtime lecture series: 'Contemporary Art Of The Caribbean: The Case for Jamaica' by Veerlee Poupeye, Ph.D. This lecture introduces and critiques key developments in Caribbean contemporary art since the 1980s, with a special emphasis on Jamaica. 12.30 p.m. to 1.30 p.m. The series is free to members and we ask a $5 donation from non-members.

The Bermuda Musical and Dramatic Society presents 'Intimate Apparel', a play by Lynn Nottage about Esther, a black seamstress in New York City at the turn of the 20th Century who dreams of opening a beauty parlour for black women and finding the right man.
