Jane Terceira who has been accepted to Trinity College, Oxford to read for a Master of Science degree in epidemiology.

Miss Terceira, daughter of Ronald and Susan Terceira of Smith's Parish, is studying for a Bachelor of Science degree in honours in microbiology and immunology.

Slated to graduate later this year, she is at McGill University in Montreal, Canada and holds the Sir Harry D. Butterfield Scholarship.

Miss Terceira attended Mount Saint Agnes Academy where she maintained a top standing throughout her secondary education and was the valedictorian of her class.

She was involved in the Duke of Edinburgh Award Scheme where she attained the bronze, silver and gold awards.
