Two exciting All-Star matches were played recently at the Mount Saint Agnes gym, with both girls and boys putting their skills on display.

In the first match featuring senior girls and pitting the Blue Team, containing members from MSA, Berkeley, Northlands and Whitney against the Red Team of Chaffee, St.George's and Saltus, the Blues came from behind to win 48-44.

The boys match was also a closely contested affair with several lead changes throughout. The Blue Team led at the half, but the Reds came back to clinch victory.

ROAD RUNNING RUN Organisers of the recent Five Flat Miles Road Race this week announced that a record $3,500 had been raised to benefit World Vision.

This year's race donation will be used to aid relief work in Rwanda, where many families have been decimated by ongoing strife.

Over 300 competed in the event which started and finished at Somerset Police Recreation Club.

TARGET SHOOTING SHO Walter Trott and Eugene Robinson were the top shooters during competition on Wednesday of the Coral Reefs Rifle and Pistol Club at the Prospect Range.

Trott and Robinson each amassed total scores of 190 out of a possible 200. In third place was Carl Reid on 189 points.

SOCCER SOC Bermuda Football Coaches Association will hold a meeting at Belmont Hotel on Monday, starting at 6.30 p.m. All members and others wishing to coach soccer are invited to attend.
