Architects are seeking Planning approval for interior renovations to install a brew pub inside the Front Street restaurant and nightclub.

"Our seven-barrel brewery at the Surf Club will produce approximately 200 gallons of finished product, which will be served straight out of four serving tanks (brite beer tanks) located directly behind the bar wall,'' Brewing Services Ltd.'s Philip Mason wrote in a letter to the Planning director.

"We plan to brew beer twice a week in the summer and half that in the slower winter months.''
