Despite the blustery conditions at Ocean View last Saturday, junior golfers turned in some impressive scores, led by Aaron James' two-over par 72 in Group

James was followed closely by Jarryd Dillas (73) who edged out David Smith on retrogression. Jennifer Spurling finished on top in Group Four with a 74 followed by Nick Dunkle on 83 and Ryan Marshall on 84.

In Group Three, Sean Harlington carded an 81, Doug Markey 85 and Steven Roy 89. Group Two, played over nine holes, saw Sergio Edness lead the way with a 40, followed by Andrew Cottingham's 42 which edged out Gordon Cooper on retrogression.M In Group One, also played over nine holes, Barry DeCouto carded 45. Jamie MacMillan finished on 47, beating Camiko Smith on retrogression.

The novices played nine holes at Southampton Princess where Nathan Swan finished ahead on 36. Alex Harlington carded 39, beating out Tariqah Walikraam on retrogression.

Play continues this Saturday at Belmont.

CROSS COUNTRY CC The senior and junior cross country series continue at Astwood Park tomorrow morning, but over yet another new course.

Due to Regiment training on the Warwick dunes, the course has had to be confined to the park with senior men running six times around a loop circuit of slightly more than a mile in distance.

Juniors begin at 9.00 and seniors at 9.30.

SOCCER SOC The scorer of the second goal in North Village Rams' Commercial League match with BAA Wanderers was reported as being Alan Smith. However, the goal has since been claimed by substitute Brendon Rogers.
