The Post Office this afternoon warned that due to the winter storms affecting the US there will be delays in mail to Bermuda.

Postmaster General George Outerbridge said: “The delays experienced in the US will have a direct effect on mail delivery in Bermuda over the Christmas Holiday.

“The Post Office team is working diligently to deliver any mail we receive, but due to the winter storm, there will be some packages that will not arrive in Bermuda in time to be delivered for Christmas.”

Storms are affecting North America from the Southern U.S. through to the Northeastern seaboard.
