A pregnant woman denied importing and possessing cannabis when she appeared in Magistrates’ Court this morning.

Valisa Holder, 40, of Devonshire, pleaded not guilty to one count of importing 1,101.8 grammes of cannabis, and one count of being in possession of the same amount of cannabis with intent to supply.

The offences are alleged to have occurred in St George’s on September 10.

Magistrate Khamisi Tokunbo set bail at $10,000 with one surety of the same amount.

The matter was adjourned to January 6.
