present were among the hundreds who turned up to pay their last respects. The former Cup Match hero who went on to play professionally in Scotland and was deemed unlucky not to make the West Indies' Test team following trials in 1933, died last Friday at the age of 88. On his retirement from playing, Hunt became president of Bermuda Cricket Board of Control, holding down that post for 18 years during which time Bermuda reached the final of the ICC Trophy. He is survived by his wife Elmira, daughter Beverley Baldwin and son Alma E.
