De St Croix dominates at Admiralty House

Neil de St Croix won the third race of the 2013 Bicycle Works Mountain Bike Racing series at Admiralty House at the weekend.In windy and cool conditions, the 67 participants tackled the challenging course, with de St Croix and Dominique Mayho competing at the front of the pack.Mayho’s challenge would last only two laps, however, as he had to retire due to injury thus leaving de St Croix to take line honours in the ‘A’ Division in a time of 24 minutes, 42.51 seconds, with Brian Steinoff (26:09.24) finishing second.Mark Hatherly (26:44.16) finished in third to round out the podium places.Hans Hirschi rode a solid race finishing in first in the Male ‘B’ Division, followed by Robin Horsefield in second and Ian Port finished in third.In Female Division racing Gabriella Arnold finished in first, followed by Ashley Kirkpatrick in second, while Kyle Adams took the top spot in the Novice Class, followed by Jason Thomas in second and Paul Tetly in third.Brittany Uddin won the Female Novice Division.In the 13 to 16 Male Class, Matthew Oliveira took top honours, with Christian Oatley in second and Sam Walsh in third.Tristan Narraway finished first in the 13 to 16 Female Class, followed by Jessie Godfrey in second and Victoria Davis in third.
