The Red Shield is an annual fund-raising event which supports the organised efforts that the Salvation Army continues to provide regularly throughout the Island and the world.

There will be an official kick-off and Flag Raising Ceremony for this year's Red Shield Appeal on April 30 at 12:15 p.m. at the City Hall.

The fund-raising event will bring forward participation from the Salvation Army personnel and dignitaries Premier Jennifer Smith, Hamilton Mayor William Frith and fund-raising chairman John McCulloch. Everyone is welcome.
