Boat owners should check the drain holes on their boats; Those with children should not leave wading pools sitting around. They should be emptied and stored so they will not catch water; The access to water tanks should be tight fitting and the overflow pipe should be screened; Cement-block walls, which have openings at the top, should be filled with cement to prevent water from collecting; and Those in the process of building should make sure the water tanks are covered or a hole should be put in the bottom to avoid water from accumulating.
