Bermuda Keyholders expands services
Bermuda Keyholders Service have expanded from providing home fire inspections to becoming the 911 of home services.
Bermuda Fire Service Sergeants Steven Caines and Troy Brimmer and retired Sergeant Charles Pearman established Bermuda Keyholders Service as a 24/7 on-call emergency response service in October, 2004.
The home fire inspection service is designed to ensure electrical outlets, smoke detectors and fire extinguishers are working properly and prevent any defects in residential homes.
Vacation house checks and EMS (Emergency Medical Services) including blood pressure, pulse and sugar checks are also provided.
"Now when you call us we can give a one-stop service as we have a lot of suppliers on stand-by such as electricians, plumbers, swimming pool cleaners, flood control, general trucking, air conditioning repair, and tank cleaning services," Mr. Caines said.
"Its the 911 of services as we can provide quick and easy access to these services once customers have signed up to our home inspection service."
Mr. Caines said people sometimes complain Mr. Caines said people sometimes complain about slow service response, with plumbers or electricians not showing up on time, but he wants to give better customer service with the companies on-call electrician, cleaning and plumbing services.
"When we do house inspections we may find an electrical fault and they will need an electrician to sort the problem out," Mr. Brimmer said.
Mr. Caines said the partnership with his stable of service supplies has been beneficial as they have seen increased business and they can offer better customer service.
