Index falls during active week
The Royal Gazette/Bermuda Stock Exchange Index fell 72.241 points last week to close at 4,328.12.
During an active week of trading MediaHouse gained $6.55 to close at $6.55 as investors traded in 940 shares and MediaHouse PFD gained $3.75 to close at $3.75 on volume of 212 shares.
Butterfield Bank fell 75 cents to close at $55.75 as investors traded in 42,226 shares, Bermuda Commercial Bank fell 75 cents to close at $7.50 on volume of 10,822 shares and LOM lost five cents to close at $3 as 5,200 shares changed hands.
Masters declined 25 cents to close at $16 on volume of 4,000 shares and BF&M fell $1.50 cents to close at $17 as investors traded in 8,800 shares.
Bermuda Aviation Services also fell 50 cents to close at $6 on volume of 10,100 shares and Belco Holdings fell 90 cents to close at $39 as 5,041 shares.
Meanwhile Devonshire Industries traded 1,600 shares to close unchanged at $14.95 and Bermuda Press Holdings traded in 5,000 shares to remain unchanged $13.25.
And Bermuda Aviation Service Rights traded in 155,600 shares to close at 25 cents and 10,803 KeyTech shares changed hands to remain unchanged at $12.50.
The total value of the shares bought and sold on the BSX last week was $3,176,341.05 and the overall volume of shares was 209,144.
