BAA Telecom virtually had things their own way in the recently-completed women's soccer season, capturing both the league title and the Challenge Cup.
goals for the season, BAA defeated Dandy Town 3-0 in the league decider. Two goals came via the penalty spot from Terri-Lynn Paynter while Ivanoff added the third.
BAA finished the league undefeated with seven victories and one draw from eight matches.
Dandy Town, however, gave the champions a run for their money in the cup final, with a single goal from Tonya Semos separating the teams in a 1-0 BAA win.
The trophies for women's soccer will be presented during the soccer awards evening at Hamilton Princess Hotel tomorrow evening.
DARTS DRT Recent play in the darts league playoffs saw Jimmy Pratt win six of his eight matches to take a decisive lead with just two weeks left in the season.
Steven Hayward won five, Vernon Daniels four and Robert Davis three. Greg McQueen managed just two wins.
Daniels scored three 180s but couldn't find the double and lost all three matches.
Pratt's record is now 11-5 followed by Hayward 9-7, Daniels 8-8, McQueen 7-9 and Davis 5-11.
In ladies action, two of the five players were suffering from flu and consequently just three games were played. The other matches will take place when competition resumes at BAA nest Wednesday at 8.15 p.m.
Jean Clark leads the women with a 9-5 record followed by Brenda Hutton 8-4, Terry Cartwright 8-6, Elizabeth Simons 6-8 and Ruth Holder 2-10.
BOWLING BOW Dean Lightbourn had the high game of 233 and series high of 649, but couldn't prevent Pembroke Juniors from suffering a 17-10 loss against Mini Forwarders during recent action in the Barritt's Sportsmen's Bowling League. Casey Burgess led Forwarders with a 587 series and top game of 233 while team-mate Steve Wales contributed a 594 series. Cal Basden threw in valuable support also with a 587 series and 219 high game.
League leaders Buy and Sell beat Social Club 22-5 behind Kevin Minors' high series of 574 and high game of 218. Other games saw Sparks beat WW Reds 18-9 and WW Whites defeat Young Blood 24-3.

SHOOTING SHO James Rego with a score of 194 out of a possible 200 was top shooter at the Coral Reefs Rifle and Pistol Club competition at Prospect range on Wednesday.
