Local artists are `Just Clicked' on!

The focus is on Bermuda and Bermudians at `Just Clicked', the new photograph and art gallery, that is tucked away on Bermuda House Lane in Hamilton.

Proprietor and well-known photographer Ian MacDonald-Smith says that, besides providing a showcase for his own photographic prints and books, his aim in opening the gallery was to encourage other photographers and artists to participate.

"There is an incredible amount of talent on this Island which I feel is of international standard and I think it needs as much exposure as possible,'' he says. "I have Scott Stallard's books, photographic prints by Mark Emmerson and Antoine Hunt -- who is also displaying some of his sculpture -- and I'm also hoping that Chesley Trott will be putting his sculpture on sale. I also have Jonathan Northcott's pottery, some of Stephen Lusher's silver objets d'art and small antique items, and frames by Woolfworks, as well as books by several Bermuda authors.'' The wide selection of photographic prints may be purchased framed, or unframed, and two of Mr. MacDonald's leather-bound, limited editions of `Bermuda Triangles' and `Ascape to Bermuda' are available at the special Christmas price of $125.

"I also have all my slides here, so if a customer would like a print of a certain house or a particular place on the Island that has special meaning to them, they can come in and order a print.''
