BSX down on mixed trading

Nearly $3 million worth of stocks changed hands on the Bermuda Stock Exchange index last week, but the index dipped 6.3 points after LOM, Long Botham Boats and Argus took hits over the week.
LOM lost 55 cents to finish at $3.25, Long Botham Boats, the owner of Henry VIII, lost 95 cents to $4.05 and Argus lost $1.00, closing at $20.00.
BELCO, however, gained 25 cents to finish at $28.25 and BTC 7 3/4 preferred Bermuda dollar bonds gained 5 cents to close at $98.55.
The index closed down 0.24 percent at 2,627.75 on a volume of 84,980 shares worth $2,892,157.50 and 43,560 bonds worth $42,928.38.
