St. David's juniors retain county cup

Oliver Pitcher Jr. and Aaron Crockwell also returned good figures, Pitcher taking two for two off six overs with four maidens and Crockwell two for 10 off 11 overs, including five maidens.

Jason Adams was top bat for Cleveland with 20, Barry Gibbons followed with 19 and T.DeSilva 16.

Opening bat Figre Crockwell was high scorer for St. David's with 29 while his opening partner Stevie Trott struck 21 and Oliver Pitcher 20 not out.

David Trott was the pick of the Cleveland bowlers, finishing with four for 22 off eight overs.

The West under-17s followed in the footsteps of their under-13 team by beating the East by one wicket in Saturday's All-Star match at Sea Breeze Oval.

Scores: East 160, West 161-9.

On Friday at Devonshire Rec. the West under-13s scored a more convincing seven-wicket victory.

Saturday's play saw opening bat Jekon Edness strike 58 to lead the West team.

Jason Williams scored 14, Quinton Jones 11 and Johnny Ball 10.

Stephen Outerbridge was the top bowler for the East with two for 24 while Jim West had two for 29.

David Lovell, who was voted the Most Valuable Player, was top scorer for the East with 53. Jim West followed with 21 while Taurean Manders scored 19 and Colvin Brown 13.

Shane Hollis led the West bowling attack with three for 32 while Lamar Caines had two for 16 and Nasir Wade two for 26.

On Friday the under-13 game was more one sided. Scores: East 110, West 111-3.

Ajani Gibbons restricted the East batsmen with a good spell of bowling, finishing with five wickets for 31 off five overs. Lamont Brangman had two for seven off three overs.

Opener Taurean Masters was top scorer for the East with 24 while Allan Douglas Jr. hit 23 and Rodney Trott 12.

Steven Bremar was top bat for the West with 31 (retired) while Derek Brangman hit 14 and Gavin Manders 13 not out.

Bryan Phipps, Orande Bascome and Masters each took a wicket apiece for the East.
