Rian Williams, 19, who entered into the Bermuda College's Discovery Programme, is gearing up to go to Dekalb College in Atlanta where he plans to study to become a computer engineer.

Rian said: "The Discovery Programme is designed for students who leave high school and who do not have the grades to enter the Associates Degree Programme."

Murrinda Bailey is currently studying at the Adult Education Centre. She is studying for a GED, but plans to come to the Bermuda College and study Culinary Arts.

Murrinda said: "I love art and I love cooking. I want to become a chef and combine my skills."
