Within the main sectors, both food and transport and vehicles gained .4 percent month-over-month.

Most of the price changes within the food basket resulted from higher meat prices with frozen tenderloin, sausage and lamb all showing marked increases.

New car prices coupled with higher gas prices were mostly responsible for the increase in the Transport sector.

But prices dropped in the fuel and power sector, down 2.4 percent, and Household Appliances, which dipped .2 percent.

ANOTHER WOMAN GOES MISSING POL Another woman goes missing Police are concerned that a 59-year-old woman has been missing since Saturday.

Mrs. Dorris Simmons, of Curving Avenue, Pembroke, has not been seen since 1 p.m. on Saturday and Police are requesting that she calls them to tell them she is safe.

She is dark skinned, full figured, five feet tall, and wearing light beige slacks with either a maroon or blue top. Her hair was in corn-rolls joined at the back. Anyone with any information can call the Police at 295 0011.

VOTERS LISTS OUT VOT Voters lists out Draft Parliamentary Registers are now on display throughout the Island.

The registers, containing the names of all registered voters, can be found at all Police stations, post offices, libraries and in the Parliamentary Registrar's office in the Government Administration Building on Parliament Street.

Voters have until April 30 to check the registers and make sure their names have been properly included. After that date no changes to the registers will be made.

The final voter's list will be published on June 15.

ROBBERY CHARGE CTS A Pembroke man accused of violently robbing a man of his wallet on Sunday made his first appearance in court on Thursday.

Dwayne Robert Young, of the Canadian Hotel on Reid Street, was not required to enter a plea in Magistrates' Court.

The 28-year-old is accused of robbing Harry Charles of his wallet on March 28 in the City of Hamilton, and using violence against him. The wallet contained only $6.

Young was released on $2,000 bail with one like surety, and was ordered to report to the Hamilton Police Station each week until he appears for mention in two weeks.

SANDYS MAN HURT CRM Sandys man hurt A 33-year-old Sandys man suffered a broken nose and cuts to his face when he was assaulted at his home.

The man was attacked at his Beacon Hill house by a man believed to be carrying a machete.

A 36-year-old Sandys man has been arrested.

Thieves stole tools from a workshed on a building site in Queen Street, St.

George's, including a pair of bolt cutters and two hand saws.
