Self proclaimed 'King of Clubs' Peter Longo will bring his bag of tricks to Bermuda this month.

The trick shot artist and golf instructor will run a golf clinic at Ocean View Golf Course, and pass on his tips for coaching seniors and the disabled to members of the Bermuda Professional Golfers Association, on Sunday, September 26, and Monday, September 27.

Longo is considered a leading authority on working with the disabled and has travelled extensively taking his message to nearly 3,000 exhibitions worldwide.

He is being hosted by the Ocean View Seniors Golf League, which was created earlier in the year with the objective of encouraging senior members and their guests to get out and participate in monthly golf tournaments.

"This is a wonderful opportunity for our seniors and persons with disabilities to enjoy a game that we take for granted," said Alex Madeiros, CEO of To A Tee, Bermuda. "Peter Longo brings a bag full of golf entertainment and information wherever he appears, and we're delighted to have him."

As well as hosting a seminar for BPGA members, Longo will hold a golf clinic from 3.30 p.m. to 4.30 p.m. on the Sunday and on the Monday there will be a ProAm, preceded by a trick shot demonstration at 8.30 a.m.

Any senior interested in participating in the golf Pro-Am on Monday, September 27 is asked to register at Ocean View Golf Club. The deadline for registration is 5 p.m. on Wednesday, September 22. Any senior or person with a disability who would like to participate in the teaching clinic is asked to contact To A Tee, Bermuda Ltd. at 295-4640 to register.
