Devonshire woman in critical condition.

The 33-year-old pedal cyclist is under intensive care at King Edward VII Memorial Hospital with head injuries.

Yesterday she was in "critical but stable'' condition.

The accident occurred at about 5.30 p.m. on Thursday on the south bound carriageway of Crow Lane, Pembroke.

Police say the woman was riding out of Hamilton when she collided with a motor cycle being driven by a 30-year-old Warwick man.

The motor cyclist sustained cuts to his right leg. Both vehicles were extensively damaged.

"The cause of the accident is under investigation,'' said Police spokeswoman Sgt. Roseanda Jones.
