Meanwhile, traffic was delayed on Cedar Avenue in front of St. Theresa's Cathedral following a collision between a car and a cycle. The cyclist complained of some shoulder pain, but the driver of the car was not injured.
Police recommend that during heavy rains motorists should: switch on headlights to increase their visibility to others; increase their distance from the vehicle in front of them; and decrease road speed.
