holding company reached a deal with creditors.
The contents of the Odyssey nightclub on Front Street were set to be sold off at auction today after it was revealed that the company that owns the club owes thousands of dollars in unpaid payroll tax.
But the lawyer representing Troy Starr Ltd. confirmed an arrangement had been made with creditors and the auction cancelled.
"It is my understanding that the matter has now been resolved and the auction will not be going ahead,'' lawyer Michael Smith said.
Mr. Smith refused to discuss what sort of arrangement had been made between Troy Starr and the Finance Ministry which filed the writ. But it is understood the club owed nearly $50,000.
