The call comes after three break-ins yesterday when cash, jewellery and electronic items were stolen.

At about 5.30pm yesterday, Police were called to a home on Ferry Road, in St. George's. It appears that sometime between 8am and 4pm someone gained entry into the home while it was empty and stole cash and jewellery.

Then they were called at about 8pm to a home on Malabar Close, in Sandys, where someone stole a 26ins Panasonic flat screen TV.

A Police spokesman said: “The Bermuda Police Service continues to advise the public to remain vigilant regarding burglaries.
