Jennings returns to village
teammate Tafari Outerbridge, but otherwise transfer activity has been quiet going into today's 5.00 p.m. deadline.
Players who have obtained releases have up until today to sign with a new club, or wait until the late transfer period which would make them ineligible to play until November 15.
The movement of just Jennings and Outerbridge from Vasco, champions for the last two years, would seem to suggest the feared exodus from the club is not about to happen now that coach John Rebello has been convinced to stay on another year.
Initially, 20 Vasco players applied for releases.
Wolves have already picked up two players in what little transfer activity there has been, with Corey Smith joining them from Devonshire Cougars and Mark (Beaver) Ray signing from Fire Service, a year after he was first linked with the club after obtaining a release from Devonshire Colts.
Another signing for Village is Lamont Simmons from Dandy Town while PHC have signed Town pair Shawn Simmons and Kareem Richardson. Sean Simmons and Steven Burrows of Somerset Trojans have moved to nearby Somerset Eagles while another Trojans player, Anthony Burchall, is stepping down to the Commercial League with Ireland Rangers.
Moving: Kentoine Jennings will play for North Village.
