The Chamber of Commerce has appointed Carrie Stroble as its new marketing and events co-ordinator.

Ms Stroble, who is a spouse of a Bermudian, having moved to the Island from Edmonton, Alberta in September 2002, has worked at Aqua restaurant in Ariel Sands, before going on to fulfill the role of server and part-time manager at the Pickled Onion restaurant.

Between July 2007 and May 2008 she worked as an office/customs administrator for Bermuda Ocean Shipping Services.
