A master hairstylist and make-up artist from the US will be on Island this weekend to lead a two-day educational seminar for local beauty professionals.Sylvia McElrath has worked in the beauty industry for more than two decades and is the owner of Renaissance Hair Studio in Norfolk, Virginia.Specialising in healthy hair care, she takes pride in her desire to get as much education in the field as possible, so that she can remain on the cutting edge.For the past ten years Ms McElrath has served as a senior educator for Mizani, a professional division of L’Oreal.
